We are salvaging old houses to get new inventory every week!
If you have items that you want to get rid of, we may be interested in them if they are unique or special or we don't already have some similar in the store. If it's doors and windows, we can get those through our salvage work, but contact us to see.
And we don't generally buy items, but offer the opportunity to consign them with us. We have a number of consignments in the store, including vintage lights, tubs, sinks and built-ins.
Give us a call in order to see what you can add to your collection!

We greatly appreciate the support of our local media!!!
Other local coverage has included the following...
In December 2014, the Evansville Courier and Press carried an article featuring fHg Architectural Salvage and our recent selection by the Evansville Vanderburgh County Building Commission to participate in the Blight Elimination Program and our initial salvage projects under this agreement. That same month we were featrued in Tucker Publishing's magazine Evansville Business. Read the article in Evansville Business' December/January issue here:
We’ve set a date for our opening! We will officially open the doors Thursday, September 18th, and then will be having a Grand Opening on Saturday, September 20th.
We picked up a number of new items from a couple of different auction this month -- garden chairs, benches and planters; a brass ceiling light; a vintage porch swing; an old wooden extension ladders; and some very interesting and unique antiques.
We just signed a lease on a wonderful building very near to downtown Evansville, Indiana, and are in the process of moving in. Stay tuned to our web site for our Grand Opening.
We attended the recent auction at the former Sunburst Stained Glass store in Newburgh, Indiana, and we were able to pick up a few vintage stained glass windows, ceiling lights and some interesting door hardware. Look for photos of this new inventory both here on the web site and on our Facebook page.
Over Father's Day weekend, we will be participating in the Golden Raintree Antique Show in New Harmony, Indiana! This is a new show for us, and we're excited to see how many new people we meet. We have a lot more inventory after our Mt. Vernon salvage project and will have some of it with us.
After working several weekends in May and early June, we finally finished the salvage of a 1915 historic house in Mt. Vernon, Indiana! We were able to get over 20 5-panel doors, including a beautiful 12-pane front door; over 30 multi-pane wavy glass windows, including a large 12-pane window that would fit 8x10 photos; fireplace mantle, andirons, and tile; built-in bookcases, fireplace seats, china cabinet, and pantry; and many, many more items.
fHg is again going to participate in the Collectors Carnival Antique and Collectibles Show on Saturday and Sunday, April 26th and 27th. We enjoyed the show in October and are looking forward to this one, too!
We just had several vintage doors installed in the Kaskaskia Engineering Group office in downtown Evansville. This is a first for the company... And they look fabulous!
fHg is going to display a large amount of our inventory at the Collectors Carnival Antique and Collectibles Show on October 26th and 27th at the Vanderburgh 4H Center. We are so excited to see what people think of our stuff!
Can't believe it, but we've completed our first entire house salvage of a duplex on Adams Street on the southeast side of Evansville. We got a lot of vintage 5-panel doors, single-pane wavy glass windows, fireplace surrounds, summer covers and tile, and heat registers and cold air returns.
Enjoy our website, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to meeting you and to fulfill your need.
Thanks, Kent & Neal
